Visual Travel Log:
February in New York City

A Day in Brooklyn.

After walking across the Brooklyn Bridge from the northeast corner of City Hall Park along Centre Street, made the first stop at the DUMBO. We picked up our lunch nearby and continued walking through the park along the East River. This spectacular view opened up shortly after. We sat there for hours had lunch and soaked in the beauty that was the Manhattan skyline. The sky opened up briefly allowing me to take this shot.

Empire

Walking around Midtown Manhattan you can never get lost. Just look for this marvel of New York City. This Art Deco skyscraper is towering down on you from everywhere. It was our North Star guiding us back to our hotel.

Got Nuts?

Entered Central Park through the Columbus Circle and we were soon walking in a snow flurry for half an hour or so. We came upon a scurry of grey squirrels running around. This irresistible face came right up to me and asked if I had any nuts.

DUMBO

The Empire State Building peeked through the Manhattan Bridge’s arches at DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), a thriving and trendy Brooklyn neighborhood with cobblestone streets, converted lofts, and historical architecture.
